Info: La damnation de Faust (The Damnation of Faust), Op. 24 is a work for four solo voices, full seven-part chorus, large children's chorus and orchestra. The Rákóczi March (Marche Hongroise or Hungarian March) was a thunderous success at a concert in Pest, Hungary, 15 February 1846.

The artist: French Romantic composer, made significant contributions to the modern orchestra with his Treatise on Instrumentation. His influence was critical for the further development of Romanticism.
