J. S. Bach - Flute Sonata BWV 1031 (III. Allegro)

Sheet music for flute

Info: Third and last movement (Allegro) of Sonata in E-flat major for flute or recorder and harpsichord. This piece, probably by J. S. Bach (BWV 1031), is a sonata in 3 movements: Allegro moderato (in E-flat major), Siciliano (in G minor) - in key, unusually, this movement is in a non-relative key to the home key, but the mediant minor (relative key to the dominant key) and Allegro (in E-flat major).
Date: 1730-34
Artist: Johann Sebastian Bach
Born: 21 March 1685 , Eisenach
Died: 28 July 1750 , Leipzig
The artist: One of the greatest composers of all time. Bach wrote hundreds of pieces for organ, choir, as well as many other instruments. He spent most of his life as a church organist and a choir director. His music combines profound expression with clever musico-mathematical feats, like fugues and cannons in which the same melody is played against itself in various ways.
