Metronome

Metronomes are used by musicians when practicing to maintain a constant tempo. It helps to keep a steady tempo when playing, work on issues of irregular timing and to help internalize a clear sense of timing and tempo. By adjusting the metronome is possible to change the time signature and tempo measured in beats per minute (BPM).

How to use it?

  1. Set a tempo:
    Drag the “Tempo” slider or click on the number next to it to change the metronome tempo to the desired value. It’s also possible to set the tempo by clicking a few times in the “Tap Tempo” button.
  2. Set the number of beats per measure:
    Drag the “Number of beats” slider to match the time signature you want.
  3. Start the metronome: Click the “Start” button labeled to start the metronome. Press the same button again to stop it.
