Metronomes are used by musicians when practicing to maintain a constant tempo. It helps to keep a steady tempo when playing, work on issues of irregular timing and to help internalize a clear sense of timing and tempo. By adjusting the metronome is possible to change the time signature and tempo measured in beats per minute (BPM).
How to use it?
- Set a tempo:
Drag the “Tempo” slider or click on the number next to it to change the metronome tempo to the desired value. It’s also possible to set the tempo by clicking a few times in the “Tap Tempo” button. -
Set the number of beats per measure:
Drag the “Number of beats” slider to match the time signature you want. - Start the metronome: Click the “Start” button labeled to start the metronome. Press the same button again to stop it.
